Finally, a cool spot they come to on their own.
You've seen your pet panting on the floor, looking for the coolest tile they can find.
It's the small worry that sits in the back of your mind all summer.
The Coolabee is a pressure-activated cooling mat — no freezer, no plug, no fuss.
Just lay it down. Your pet lies on it. The ice-silk-like layer draws their body heat away, and they finally settle.
Ready to use the moment it arrives.
One of our most reordered summer pet picks.
✓ Cools the second they lie down
The ice-silk-like layer reacts to your pet's body weight. No freezer, no water, no waiting — the cooling starts on contact.
✓ Stops the summer panting
Draws heat from your pet's belly and paws, so they settle instead of pacing from tile to tile looking for a cool spot.
✓ Cats and dogs actually use it
The soft, quilted top feels nothing like a hard ice pack. Pets choose it on their own — no training, no coaxing.
✓ Machine washable, claw-resistant fabric
Wipes clean in seconds, holds up to daily use, and keeps its shape wash after wash.
✓ 4 sizes for every pet, from kittens to large dogs
S fits cats and puppies. XL fits big dogs stretched out. Pick the size that fits your pet's favorite spot.

Frequently asked questions
Does it stay cool the whole day?
Yes. The ice-silk-like and gel layer keep drawing heat away as long as your pet is lying on it. If they get up, the mat resets in a few minutes and is ready again.
Will my cat actually use it?
Most cats settle onto it within the first day, especially in warm rooms. For a stronger draw, place it where your cat already likes to nap.
Is it safe if my pet licks or chews it?
The gel is sealed inside a durable ice-silk-like cover. It's designed for pets, not people, but heavy chewers should always be supervised with any new item.
Can I use it in a crate or car?
Yes. It works on hardwood, tile, carpet, sofas, crates, and car seats. Anywhere your pet lies down.
How to use
- Step 1: Unfold the mat and lay it flat on any surface — floor, bed, crate, or sofa.
- Step 2: Let your pet approach on their own. Most cats and dogs settle within minutes.
- Step 3: For extra cooling on very hot days, chill the mat in the fridge for 10 minutes before use.
- Step 4: Wipe clean with a damp cloth, or machine wash on a gentle cycle.
Specifications
- Size: S (20"x16") / M (24"x20") / L (28"x22") / XL (39"x30")
- Material: Ice-silk-like polyester cover with cooling gel layer and breathable mesh backing
How to wash
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Do not bleach. Air dry flat. Do not tumble dry.
Does the denim paneling feel stiff to wear?
No. The panels are placed at the neckline, lapels and sleeves to hold structure, not across the body. The parts that touch you most are soft ribbed knit.
Can I wear this as my actual jacket in fall?
Yes, in mild to cool weather. It's a substantial knit layer, so think crisp fall days over a tank or tee rather than deep winter.
Will the knit stretch out at the elbows and hem?
The ribbed construction is built to spring back, and the denim panels take the stress at the sleeves and edges. Hang it rather than folding it to help it keep its shape.
Does it close in the front?
It's designed as an open-front layer. That's what lets the denim lapels frame the outfit underneath.
- Machine wash cold with similar colors
- Do not bleach
- Hang dry to keep the knit's shape
